This sea front cafe was crowned as
‘purveyors of the best fish and chips in the
UK’ by Rick Stein. But they also serve up
an extensive seafood menu with delicious

Greens of Whitby
A bistro and restaurant that serves up the
best locally sourced produce, with seafood
bought fresh from the quay side and local
farmers supplying meat and game. Greens
was featured in Egon Ronays guide to the

This family run cake shop on Skinner Street
was established in 1865 and is nationally
acclaimed for it’s traditional Yorkshire

This gastropub is well worth the drive from
the cottage to Goldsborough, a hamlet on
the way to Staithes. Run by ex-Ivy Chef;
Jason Davies, the pub serves simple locally

The Endeavour
If you are willing to travel a little further,
then this is a highly recommended fish
restaurant in the pretty nearby town of
Staithes, where its advisable to book a
table well in advance. Featured in both
